We’re thrilled to announce that the trust’s first two scholarships.

There are two scholarships on offer, and if you follow the link below you can find a little more detail on each, and register your interest to get an application pack from us.

The first is a scholarship to help people working toward their Private Pilot’s Licence (PPL) – click here.

The second is a scholarship to help people working toward their Commercial Pilot’s Licence (CPL) – click here.

Following confirmation of our charitable status, we’re delighted to confirm that within the next four weeks, we’ll be announcing the details of two new scholarships:

• The first is a scholarship to help fund a trainee towards their Private Pilot’s Licence
• The second is a scholarship to help fund a trainee towards their Commercial Pilot’s Licence

Details of both scholarships, including the selection criteria and application process, will be shared when the scholarships are confirmed in May.

We’re delighted to confirm that earlier this month, we had official confirmation that the AOPA NZ Charitable Trust has been granted charitable status.

This has obvious positive benefits to benefactors and donors, and is an important element in encouraging people to invest in the future of General Aviation in New Zealand.
