We are delighted to announce our second scholarship. It’s a scholarship that provides funding towards a trainee’s costs of a Commercial Pilot’s Licence (CPL).
Applicants who have already have their PPL and have undertaken at least 20 hours of flying with a flight school or aero club, will be able to apply. The successful recipient will be awarded:
- A scholarship provides a NZ$7,500 contribution to your training
- A one year membership to AOPA NZ
- A subscription to Approach Magazine – the quarterly magazine of AOPA NZ
- An AOPA NZ Calendar
- Access to the AOPA NZ and AOPA NZ Charitable Trust (“Think Aviation”) newsletters
Applications will be open from June 2nd through July 14th 2025. Scholarships will be announced on August 25th 2025.
